Lions Family Fun Day - Sunday 30th August 2009
The weather in 2009 was definitely better than in 2008, but it was hardly a glorious summer day! Despite this, everyone enjoyed an excellent day's entertainment at Todmorden Lions Annual Family Fun Day, which took place, as usual, in the grounds of Todmorden High School.
The Car Boot Sale was bigger and better than ever, there were Fairground Rides, Dog Displays, Hook-a-Duck, Food Stalls, Ice Creams, Punch and Judy with Phoenix Illusions, Music from DJ Amanda and the Star Attraction in the Main Arena - Jez Avery, with his Mountain Bike and Motor Bike stunts.
