The return of our popular concert for our older generation was well received.
St Mary's church was packed with cheerful faces.
Our original plan to have Pennine Singers put the day in jeopardy as they were unable to fulful their commitment due to unforseen circumstances.
Luckily a clever Lion contacted Hebden Bridge Youth Brass Band.

The band leader said "it is just so thrilling to play to such an ethusiatic audience, mostly we are playing in the background, to play in fromt of 150 avid eyes is splendid"
Everyone enjoyed the concert with sandwiches, drinks & biscuits provided by Lions in he interval followed by a free raffle. With one third of the audience winning a prize, many of our elderly folks had to have some assistance to get home with those heavy prizes.
