The Lions did a great job on Saturday collecting the gate money for the Todmorden Carnival, a great day all round, lots of sun (burn) & fun was had by all. Well done to all the Lions that helped out on the day.

A BIG thankyou to all the Lions who supported our small charity at the Canal walk on Sunday 28th September.What a fantastic day!

Sufferers of MG who managed the walk were over the moon re the friendly support...and Big thank you to Leeds United and England Legend Norman Hunter and his family who joined the walk at Sowerby Bridge...it was appreciated.

I would like to echo Steve Annable's comments. My husband and 14 year old son both did the Manchester to Todmorden walk and really enjoyed the day, despite the blisters! They were most grateful for the drinks provided at the checkpoints and especially the bacon butty at the start. Thank you once again for supporting our small charity!

Fabulous day yesterday, thank you very much for the superb organisation, the friendly faces, the banter and the refreshments. I surprised myself by managing to do the 10 miles and after a hot bath and a good night's sleep my knees are not too bad today! An additional bonus for my sister was finding Pulses, a vegetarian restaurant so thank you to Audrey who was actually taking us to the pub when we passed Pulses. We had a very good lunch.
